I have evaluated programs oriented around improving childhood and adolescent outcomes in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, The Dominican Republic, Paraguay, and Uruguay. I coedited the Bank’s flagship publications: “The Early Years: Child Well-Being and the Role of Public Policy” and "Expanding Opportunities: Policies for Gender Equality and Inclusion". My research has appeared in leading academic journals in economics, public health and political science. Prior to joining the Bank, I was an Assistant Professor of Economics at University College London and previously held appointments at Universidad de San Andrés and the London School of Economics. I completed my undergraduate studies in economics at Universidad de Buenos Aires and obtained a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Oxford, Nuffield College.
